Ethics and Inclusion Statement
Musecharmer Media Network (MMN) strives to provide a welcoming and inclusive environment for our listeners, guests, hosts, and staff. With that in mind, MMN has decided to craft this ethics and inclusion statement to share with our community.
MMN welcomes guests, hosts, and staff without regard for country of origin, disability status or identity, ethnicity, gender expression, neurotype, race, religious affiliation, or sexual orientation. We welcome individuals from a broad range of viewpoints, so long as they understand and respect that all human beings have a human right to bodily autonomy, dignity, and to exist in a peaceful manner free from harassment. Anyone who chooses to violate these rights will be removed from our community. We will use the tools at our disposal, including comment moderation, spam filters, and blocking to protect the safety of those in our community.
Our Shows
Our content focuses on publishing, storytelling, spirituality, and general self-improvement. While we understand that not every show will appeal to every listener, we strive to not share content from hosts who promote political hate, violence, or discrimination based on country of origin, disability, ethnicity, gender, race, or sexuality. We will not accept shows from hosts with a track record of such statements, and we ask that our hosts be mindful of the guests they may bring onto the show.
If information is brought to the network’s attention that a guest promotes these things, MCN reserves the right to remove the episode/guest’s content from distribution.
Listener Interaction
Listeners have the ability to leave written comments on posts (which are moderated and may take up to 72 hours to be approved) and to interact with the radio station through voice messages, written messages, or through any livestreaming platform for shows where the host goes live and/or encourages listener submissions.
There may be times when content evokes a strong reaction or a strong opinion. However, MCN asks listeners, guests, hosts, and staff to remember that we are all human and may choose to block interaction from listeners who are unable to state their opinions without disparaging another human being, denying their humanity or their human rights. Remember, it is possible to disagree without devolving to making derogatory comments about someone’s age, mental status, body size, disability, or bodily functions.
Should a broader community with additional opportunities for interaction be created, these guidelines will apply there.
Show Production & Station Operations
Musecharmer Media Network does not use generative AI to create, produce, or air shows. The radio station runs on an “auto dj” which plays material uploaded directly by the staff. Music used in the shows, station identification, and advertisement comes from royalty free sources or licensed from musicians directly.
Website theme, assets, plugins, and infrastructure are not generative AI to the best of the station’s knowledge and all station functions require human involvement.
Our content is 100% human made, and our radio station is 100% human run.
